Medallion

This, if you can believe it, is a sculpture of Nemiyoko I made back when I was in highschool. I think this was either 11th, or 12th grade Studio and Art class. We had to make a medallion out of metal. I cut her out of copper, and the coloring on her is glass enamels or something like that, and she's glued to a brass ring with... some kind of metal detailing, aluminum I think I dunno hehe. It's been too long for me to remember all the details of this piece.

I had to take two pics like that cause the first one (on the right) I noticed has better detail to it, so you can see exactly what I did with the metals. However, the flash kinda screwed it up a bit ~_~ So I took the second pic (on the left) with out flash, but it came out blurred (believe me, I did it both ways many times, and these were the best two shots =\ ). So, two mediocre pics to give you the full effect hehe. I miss that class...

Oh, and for reference... 12th grade for me was... about 4 or 5 years ago... o.o; damn I feel old now...
